Ms. Abby began at SBMA in 2021 and is currently working towards her Montessori certification through the Washington Montessori Institute. Originally from Wisconsin, she holds a degree in History with a minor in French from Beloit College and enjoys speaking French with both colleagues and students. In our classroom, Ms. Abby is especially drawn to Practical Life activities like wood polishing and values the deep, personal connections she builds with each student. “Working with children in a Montessori environment grounds me spiritually,” she shares. “It’s incredibly rewarding to grow alongside them.” 

 Outside of school, Ms. Abby enjoys reading, crafting, cooking, and volunteering. A devoted animal lover, she and her husband care for several rescue pets and neighborhood cats. She also cherishes time with her daughter, Stella Jo, and finds joy in nature, ceramics, and community life.
